The first six tracks here were originally released by FRVTY Records as part of a compilation album in 2006. These songs were nature themed, which may or may not have been the request of the label.

The remaining four tracks (two of which are coincidentally nature themed) were found on a CD-R from 2007 in the studio archives. Had completely forgotten about it's existence. I think it was abandoned after my infamous release party for "Has Never Kissed a Girl" which I held it in my apartment and invited all the exes I dissed and crushes I moaned about in the songs.

"Gutsy set" a friend (the head of FRVTY records, actually) half-complimented, half-chastised me immediately afterwards. I also asked my most recent ex's current boyfriend to join the band, which shows I was pretty much out of my fucking mind at this point. The whole night was the indie-rock equivalent of some guy with entitlement issues anonymously calling girls who'd rejected him "sluts and bitches" on Internet message boards. Only it wasn't anonymous, just a very public dick move. More importantly, also in attendance was a potential girlfriend who then dubbed me "undateable" (as clearly I was) and when that got back to me, I started to evaluate my life, my attitudes and my music.

Immediate result: I rashly broke up the band and ditched all my autobiographical songs in favour of nonsensical garage-punk (in a short-lived band called Die Schadenfreude). I guess these four songs was collateral damage in the wake of that party.
