This is the song where I finally give up on A.M. Apparently missing from the album is a song called "Elbows Touching" where I wrote about how I found out, on my damn birthday, she was dating someone else (see the "Lost Feathers" EP). We were all going to a Narduar show and at the pub beforehand, she and our mutual friend were cuddling up to each other. She was trying to keep it on the down-low, but was so obviously into him there was no hiding it. The self-portrait on the cover of the album (not the original artwork) was taken the next morning, probably moments before writing this song. Humiliated, I just wanted the situation to fade away.
