about

I was obsessed with this car in my neighborhood for a while. Contrary to the lyric, I'd see it everywhere and it's one black door made it pretty visible. I don't see it anymore. It was a beater so maybe it's at the junkyard now, or the owner moved away. Or they got the door painted red so I just don't recognize it.

lyrics

I see a red car
With one black door
It's across the street
I've never seen it before

There's a knock at the door
I don't know the score
There's vomit on the floor
Maybe it's okay

I've got a blanket
With 'Mercy' written on it
When I die just lay me down
Don't read no holy sonnets

There's a knock at the door
I don't know the score
There's vomit on the floor
Maybe it's okay
Maybe it's okay
Maybe it's okay

I see a black door
And I wanna paint it red
I see a black door
And I wanna paint it red

There's a knock at the door
I don't know the score
There's vomit on the floor
Maybe it's okay
