Tiny Still Things (version 1)

from Broken Machines (the muzzy tapes) by The Urbane Decay

/

about

An emptiness in my chest was causing me to suspect our love had died.

*This is the original, and superior in my opinion, demo version of this song. The version on the original "Muzzy" EPs is more emo '90s alt-rock—like Nickleback doing NIN covers. Perhaps a better "song" but this is better music.

lyrics

I can feel these
Tiny, still things
Filling me up inside
I wonder if they’re sleeping
I wonder if they died
These tiny still things
Filling me inside

How can you tell
What’s living still
What was never alive
And what’s been killed
